ESL and Citizenship Classes

The English as a Second Language (ESL) Program helps people who need to learn the English language or those who want to improve the English skills they currently have. Learning English helps them get a better job and income for the family. Moreover, it helps the family to be more independent and have more freedom in life. Therefore, the ESL program is key to growth, self-reliance, and a better life for immigrants in America.

Before partnering with C9 in 2018, CCI was blessed with volunteers from the One Mission Society, Hope Living Church, and a vibrant retired couple named Happi and Harvey who dedicated their time and services helping our community learn English and prepare to become United States citizens. We are forever grateful to the above-mentioned groups and other volunteer teachers, whom we cannot list their names here, for your gift of time, knowledge, and hope.
